Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how G2G Recovery Pty Ltd (ABN 28 686 938 778), trading as G2G Recovery (“we”, “us”, “our”), collects, uses, stores and discloses your personal information when you visit g2grecovery.com, join our waitlist or mailing list, or buy from us. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
1. Contact Us
If you have a question about this policy, want to access or correct your information, or would like to make a complaint, please email us at support@g2grecovery.com.
2. What We Collect
We only collect the personal information we need. Depending on how you use our site, this may include:
- Order information: your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address, and order history. Payments are processed securely by Shopify and its payment partners; we do not see or store your full card number.
- Waitlist and mailing list information: your email address (and name, if you give it) when you join our waitlist or sign up for updates.
- Customer support information: anything you send us when you email us or use our contact form.
- Device and browsing information: your IP address, browser type, device, time zone, the pages and products you view, how you arrived at our site, and how you interact with it.
You can browse our site without giving us your name or contact details. If you choose not to provide information we need for an order, we may not be able to fulfil it.
3. How We Collect It
We collect information directly from you when you place an order, join our waitlist or mailing list, or contact us. We collect device and browsing information automatically through cookies, pixels and similar technologies (see Sections 8 and 9).
4. How We Use It
We use your personal information to:
- process, ship and deliver your orders, and send order confirmations and updates
- respond to your questions and provide customer support
- let you know when G2G Recovery launches, if you joined our waitlist
- send you news and offers, if you have agreed to receive them
- understand how people use our site so we can improve it
- show you relevant G2G Recovery ads on other platforms (see Section 8)
- detect and prevent fraud, and meet our legal and tax obligations
We will not use your information for an unrelated purpose without your consent, unless the law allows or requires it.
5. Marketing Emails
We only send marketing emails to people who have signed up to receive them, including through our waitlist, our mailing list, or by opting in at checkout. We send these emails using Shopify Email.
Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time. You can also email us to be removed. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop order-related emails, such as confirmations and shipping updates.
6. Who We Share It With
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, and only as needed for them to do so. These include:
- Shopify, which hosts our online store and processes payments
- Delivery partners, such as Australia Post, which deliver your orders
- Our email marketing platform, which sends our emails
- Google and Meta, for analytics and advertising (see Section 8)
- Microsoft, which hosts our business email
We may also disclose your information where required or authorised by law, for example to respond to a lawful request from a government agency, or to protect our legal rights.
7. Overseas Disclosure
Some of our service providers store or process information outside Australia. In particular, Shopify, Google, Meta and our email platform may store or process data in countries including the United States, Canada, Ireland and other locations where they or their partners operate. We choose reputable providers and take reasonable steps to make sure they handle your information appropriately.
8. Analytics and Advertising
We use the following tools to understand how our site is used and to show G2G Recovery ads to people who may be interested:
- Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors use our site, such as which pages are viewed and how people arrive. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Meta Pixel helps us measure our Facebook and Instagram ads and show our ads to people who have visited our site. You can manage this in your Facebook ad preferences.
You can also limit personalised ads through your Google ad settings, and choose which cookies to accept through the cookie banner on our site.
9. Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. We use:
- Essential cookies, which make the store work, such as remembering your cart and keeping checkout secure
- Analytics cookies, which help us understand how the site is used
- Marketing cookies, which help us measure and personalise our ads
When you first visit our site, you can choose which non-essential cookies to accept. You can change your choice at any time, and you can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site, such as the cart and checkout, from working. For a full list of cookies used by Shopify stores, see Shopify’s cookie policy.
10. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access or disclosure. Our store runs on Shopify’s secure platform, payments are encrypted, and access to customer information is limited to the people who need it to run the business. No method of storing or sending information online is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
11. How Long We Keep It
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it:
- Order records are kept for at least five years, as required for tax and accounting purposes.
- Waitlist and mailing list details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
- Customer support messages are kept for as long as needed to resolve your query and keep a reasonable record of it.
When we no longer need information, we delete it or remove identifying details.
12. Accessing and Correcting Your Information
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Please email support@g2grecovery.com. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will respond within 30 days.
13. Age
Our website and products are intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has given us their information, please contact us and we will delete it.
14. Complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please email us at support@g2grecovery.com with the details. We will acknowledge your complaint and aim to respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes to our practices or to the law. The current version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
